07/02/2008 - Rise Ministries Update
Thanks to everyone who came out to Risefest 08! It was a great turnout and God kept the rain at bay. It was a wonderful day to hear the likes of Capital Lights, Addison Road, Group 1 Crew, Go Fish, and of course MercyMe. This year's extreme area was a bit different, those of you that made it know what we are talking about. The grounds were full dust, gates, and 3,000 pounds of nothing but.....bull. For an hour and a half the audience was on the edge of their seats to see who would conquer the 8 seconds or who would go home bruised and battered. It was a fun crowd pleaser for all ages.Thanks again to all the volunteers that helped out and made Risefest possible! Please pray for Risefest's continuation and growth in the coming year.
Rob has two speaking engagements in the coming week; he will be speaking at an MDA / IAFF 2nd District Meeting event in Kansas City Missouri the 11th and 12th. On the 13th he will be speaking at Praise in the Park in Arnold's Park IA. We continue to thank everyone for their prayers for Rob and Rise Ministries.
